Posters: A0 format (84.1 x 118.9 cm; note the change to this larger standard format)

  • Max. width:  86 cm

Poster flashes will be accomodated in two ways: (1) Poster awards will be given to young investigators, with the invitation for a short oral presentation in Session 12. (2) We invite all poster presenters, to prepare two figures for publication in their abstract. Please submit figures in jpg format and send short figure legends, and bring two PowerPoint slides in electronic format for the event, that we organize on-site poster flashes (3 min, 2 slides) during lunch breaks.



MiP2005 Abstracts

2005-08-29: There will be space for all posters during the entire duration of MiP2005. The maximum size for posters is the standard DIN A0 format 84.1 cm x 118.9 cm). This will be more convenient than the previsouly announced smaller format.

  • Maximum poster width: 86 cm
  • Maximum poster highth: 121 cm

 

  • All submitted abstracts are available in the programme of MiP2005.
  • All abstracts received in time, and all corrections received by 22. August 2005 will be printed. See also: MiP2005 Proceedings.

 

Abstracts

1 page (not more than 2 pages), single spaced, including title, authors, affiliations, text and 2-6 references.

 

  • Title: Use bold type, not capitalized.
  • Authors: Presenting author with full name (first name spelled out), other authors with initials only. Numbers in superscript after each author should indicate the affiliations.
  • Addresses: Numbers in superscript are placed at the beginning of the address for indicating the affiliation. The e-mail address of the presenting author should be given at the end of all addresses.
  • Text: Structured into paragraphs without headers. The standard structure of abstracts should be followed as appropriate (Introduction / Methods / Results / Conclusions / References). References in the text are given by numbers in brackets.
  • References: Full references should be numbered and include all authors (family name and initials without punctuation), followed by the year of publication in parentheses, full title, journal name abbreviated with punctuation (italic), volume number followed by a colon, and first and last pages. See abstracts on the MiP website for style, e.g. in Session 5.
  • Figure: You may submit one or two figures (jpg format), without caption if full explanation is given in the abstract.

MiP topics combining rigorous bioenergetics approaches with perspectives on cellular and organismic physiology; MiP and clinical bioenergetics; student presentations.

Max. 160 participants.

Abstracts have been received following a call for abstracts for the special topics, open sessions, and student presentations. The number of oral presentations is limited to allow sufficient time for discussions.

Oral and poster presentations were selected on the basis of submitted/corrected abstracts.
