General information
- Started from 1964, the Chinese Biophysics Congress (CBC), the annual meeting of the Biophysical Society of China, has been aiming at stimulating the scientific exchange among global researchers and building up a learning and communication platform for students and young scientists. It is becoming well-known all over the world in recent years.
- The 2018 International annual meeting (ICBC2018) will be held from August 24-27, Chengdu, China. The main theme is Biophysics and Human Health. Prof. Tao Xu is the chair of the organizing committee and prof. Pingsheng Liu will serve as the general secretary. The chair and the general-secretary of the program committee are Prof. Peace Cheng and prof. Hong Zhang, respectively.
- ICBC2018 will include 6-8 plenary speeches, about 120 invited talks, four workshops, poster presentations, and short talks selected from the volunteered abstracts. 19 topics will be covered, including structural and computational biology, imaging of single molecules, cell and circuits, system and computation, bioinformatics, redox modulation and human health, radiation and environmental biophysics, molecular and cellular biomechanics, and so on. More than 1,200 attendees will be expected to gather in ICBC2018, we sincerely welcome you to join us in Chengdu!
