Critical evaluation of abstracts

Abstracts published with AG as first author during the period of his employment at Oroboros Instruments have to be critically re-evaluated and the corresponding data will not be published as presented in these abstracts.

LinkedIn - Assa Oumie is a wrong name for the person formerly working at the MUI

From https://www.linkedin.com/in/assegid/ 2017-04-10
As a Post Doctoral Researcher of Cell and Molecular Biology at University College London (UCL) I studied cell metabolism and identified therapeutic targets against inflammation and statin-induced myopathy, in collaboration with academic and industrial partners. During my career at UCL I secured funding from research council, charity and pharmaceutical industry for three major research projects, supervised the research projects of students and junior staff and delivered module courses to graduate students.
As a Business Development Associate and Post-Doctoral Researcher at Innsbruck Medical University (Austria) in partnership with a spin-out company, I played key roles in cell biology research, oxygen sensor and software development and validation, and customer technical support. Before moving to Innsbruck, I worked at the Medical Faculty of the University of Würzburg (Germany) where I conducted comparative metabolic investigation, on cancer and foetal cells, to better understand the mechanism of adaptation to hypoxia.
Declaration
Assegid Garedew but not Assa Oumie (no person of that name is known to us) was a Postdoc employed by our 'spin-out company' working at the Medical University of Innsbruck (DSL Research Laboratory) after moving to Innsbruck from the University of Würzburg. There is no agreement that AG played any key roles during his employment at Oroboros. ~ Gnaiger Erich (talk) 14:01, 10 April 2017 (CEST)
