Description

The chambers of the Oroboros O2k are illuminated by an internal LED. The illumination is switched on and off in DatLab during the experiment by pressing [F10]. This illumination must be distinguished from light introduced into the chambers by LEDs for the purpose of spectrophotometric and fluorometric measurements. For these, the internal illumination must be switched off.

  • The term Light (on/off) was used for Illumination (on/off).

The illumination in both O2k-Chambers does not switch ON

Question: Our O2k chamber lights went off. I couldn’t find the light bulbs in the accessories page on the website. Is there a way to buy the light bulbs and change ourselves? (2019-09-16)
Answer:
  • First, please confirm that you did not accidentally press F10 or switch off the illumination in the O2k control window [F7].
  • If not, please perform the following quality control tests:
  1. Switch off and on the illumination using F10 or in the ‘O2k control’ window [F7];
  2. Switch off and on the instrument and check if the illumination is restored.
  • If these procedures do not solve the problem, the O2k should be shipped for electronic repair. Please contact our customer support to analyse your problem and provide instructions before shipment.
