Jordi Muntané Relat: have been submitted: Title: Functional impact of epigenetic regulation in hepatocarcinoma: Development of combined nanovectorization of miRNAs/lncRNAs and drugs useful in experimental liver cancer model Reference: PI19/01266

The project will identify the impact of antitumoral drugs recommended for the treatment of patients at intermediate stage (doxorubicin) and advanced (sorafenib, regorafenib, lenvatinib or cabozantinib) stages of hepatocarcinoma on their ability to regulate cell death and proliferation, translational profile, mRNA expression, mitochondrial function, migration and invasive capacity of HCC at different stages of cell differentiation. In particular, the workpackages related to the evaluation of mitochondrial function will address: 1) Impact of AMPK and Akt of PGC1α activation/inhibition and their repercussion on lipid/carbohydrate metabolism, mitochondrial biogenesis, mitochondrial respiration, conformation of mitochondrial complexes Working groups: TG3.2 Liver and TG4.2 Cultured cells.
