  • Session 1: Control of mitochondrial biogenesis, the mitochondrial population, and OXHOS capacity in tissues. 
  • Session 2: Mitochondria – the organism in communication with the cell.

Day 3 - Sep 29

  • Session 3: From injured mitochondria to organismic disease.
  • Session 4: The Warburg versus Crabtree effect – a challenge for mitochondrial physiology.
  • Session 5: Mitochondrial ageing and repair.

Day 4 - Sep 30

  • Session 6: Mitochondrial structure and OXPHOS supercomplexes assembly.
  • Session 7: Molecular mitochondrial physiology.

Call for Titles

This is a call for final titles including student presentations.  The number of oral presentations will be limited to allow sufficient time for discussions.

 

100 participants, including 50% of Young Investigators.



Focus

MiP topics combine rigorous bioenergetics approaches with perspectives on cellular and organismic physiology; MiP and clinical bioenergetics.

2010 Mar        2nd MiP2010 circular: General call for abstracts.

2010 May 15   Submission of abstracts and registration.

2010 June 30   Final date for reduced registration fee.

2010 Aug 15    Final circular and publication of abstracts on the MiP website.

2010 Aug 31    Cancellations: 100 % refund minus 70,- EURO.

2010 Sept 27   Arrival for MiP2010.

2010 Oct 01    Departure.
