Description
A dataset is a collection of data. In the context of databases a dataset represents the collection of entries in a database-table. In this table columns represent attributes and rows display the according values of the entries.
MitoPedia concepts: "MitoFit Quality Control System" is not in the list (MiP concept, Respiratory state, Respiratory control ratio, SUIT concept, SUIT protocol, SUIT A, SUIT B, SUIT C, SUIT state, Recommended, ...) of allowed values for the "MitoPedia concept" property.
MitoFit Quality Control System"MitoFit Quality Control System" is not in the list (Enzyme, Medium, Inhibitor, Substrate and metabolite, Uncoupler, Sample preparation, Permeabilization agent, EAGLE, MitoGlobal Organizations, MitoGlobal Centres, ...) of allowed values for the "MitoPedia topic" property.

Example
An experimental dataset consists of 3 entries:
- Experiment A
- Experiment B
- Experiment C
For each of those experiments the experimental dataset includes information about the attributes:
- Date of the experiment
- Temperature
- Operator
These experiments together with the attributes represent one dataset. A database consists of several datasets.
Termonology questions
- What is an experiment? Do we have to re-define the term 'experiment', or distinguish various modalities in using the term?
